To make Morpeko enter Hangry Mode, you need to understand its unique Hunger Switch ability, which automatically switches Morpeko’s form between Full Belly Mode and Hangry Mode during battle. This ability causes Morpeko’s behavior, appearance, and move effectiveness to change every turn.

Morpeko’s Hunger Switch Ability

Hunger Switch is an automatic ability that toggles between two modes:

• Full Belly Mode: When Morpeko is in this mode, it is content and its signature move, Aura Wheel, is Electric-type.
• Hangry Mode: After every turn, Morpeko switches to Hangry Mode, where it becomes angry and aggressive due to hunger. In this mode, Aura Wheel changes to Dark-type.

How Does Hunger Switch Work in Battle?

• Start in Full Belly Mode: At the beginning of the battle, Morpeko starts in Full Belly Mode. Its Aura Wheel is Electric-type, and it is calm and focused.
• Switch to Hangry Mode: After one turn, Hunger Switch activates, and Morpeko transforms into Hangry Mode. It becomes more aggressive and its Aura Wheel turns into a Dark-type move.
• Alternates Every Turn: Hunger Switch alternates Morpeko’s forms every turn, meaning that one turn it’s in Full Belly Mode, and the next it’s in Hangry Mode.
